I was invited by the German government to participate in the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy for Germany. More precisely to provide input on the topic how to apply AI research in industry and society.
Here are a few thoughts I have prepared for a workshop in Berlin last month on this topic.
After a break due to some travel and vacation we are back with updates from the world of innovation and artificial intelligence. This weeks edition is focusing on the application of AI in Business and the latest developments in China.

This week we have two really insightful articles on national AI strategies focussing on the US and China. We also look at AI adoption in business from different perspectives and have a few lists of interesting AI startups .
The focus this week is the important question how to best use AI in business. We look AI in healthcare and have some good information sources on the national AI strategies. And there is a very inspiring vision of the not-to-distant future of portable AI.
